This is possibly the most disrespectful photo on Tumblr. I am not saying that you have to agree with what the bible says, but to utilize that book ‘as a plate’ knowing what it means to people, is just plain disrespectful to religion.

And don’t even pull the “lol religion is the downfall of society!!!” on me because holy fuck this isn’t being “edgy” or “progressive” this is just being a grade-A asshole. Like you’re not calling out anyone for using this book for malicious purposes because hey, religion is a tool, just like every other fucking social institution on this goddamm planet. Yeah, he was a cat, you’re right. But he has been in my life since my 8th grade year. Since the first day I got him, he never left my side. He was my shadow. He knew my every secret, and he never judged me. Because he was a cat. Have you ever had someone that close to you, just pass away without warning? Human, pet, it doesn’t matter. They’re a part of your life. They have changed your life in some way. Made you happy. Needed you.
Then take that away. Your life changes, ever so slightly, and you miss them with your entire being because they’re no longer there.
He was the coolest damn cat I’ve ever known. He was so happy, gentle, cuddly, and I’ll never find another one like him. He was a part of me, and that’s been taken away.
So, yeah, he was just a cat, but my life will never be the same without him. Excuse the fuck out of me for being upset.
